Bob’s Duct Tape Parade is walking again!

Bob is now a 17 year survivor of pancreatic cancer. We remember his rocky road that included 2 major surgeries and 7 years of different chemotherapies. We walk to fund research for early detection and more treatments options. We walk with the hope that there will be more and more survivor stories to share. Please support our fundraising efforts to change the course of this disease. When Bob was diagnosed in 2009, the 5 year survival rate was 6%. Now it is 13%—we still have a long way to go.
Thanks to research efforts, there is a new medication that extends patients lives significantly. We hope research will bring more breakthroughs to pancreatic cancer patients.
We walk in memory of Bob’s colleagues Capt. Dick Otten and Lt. Kenny Finck and all those taken too soon by this disease. We also honor the memory of Rev. Dr. Natalie Fenimore who nourished our hearts and minds.
Please walk with us Sunday, 10/4/26 at Jones Beach Parking Field #5.
Please make a donation—100% of your donation will go to research as we thrive to make pancreatic cancer a curable disease.
