We're fundraising for Colleen’s Climbers
In June 2018, my sister, Colleen, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The toughest mountain she has ever had to climb, but climb she did. When she was first diagnosed, the 5 year survival rate was below 10%. Today through research, it is now 13%. A hopeful change, but still too low. This past February, Colleen celebrated 7years since her last treatment and continues to live a life of love, laughter and hope. On October 4th. our team will be walking for the Lustgarten Foundation to raise money for research that will one day make PC a curable disease. Colleen’s Climbers are Hope Warriors, Beggars of Prayers, and Fierce Fundraisers.
My team walks for my sister, for those climbing this same mountain, and those we have lost to this insidious disease.
