Pancreatic cancer has touched my family in a deeply personal way. We walk in memory of my mother and my dad’s sister, both of whom we lost to this devastating disease, and with the knowledge that pancreatic cancer has affected others in our family as well.

With that family history, this cause is about more than remembering those we have lost. We walk for the people we love today and for the generations that come after us. We walk because we want a future in which a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer is no longer so frightening — a future with earlier detection, better treatments, and ultimately, a cure.

That is why we are proud to support the Lustgarten Foundation and its mission to transform pancreatic cancer into a curable disease. As the nation’s largest private funder of pancreatic cancer research, Lustgarten directs 100% of donations to research because its administrative expenses are funded separately.
