We're fundraising for...
We're back for Year 19 of Howie's Walkers – our annual endeavor to raise funds for the Lustgarten Foundation's critical, cutting-edge research efforts to find better methods of detection, treatments, and a cure for pancreatic cancer. There were some exciting treatment advances reported this year, but there is still much important work to be done, and the Lustgarten Foundation remains the world's largest private funder of pancreatic cancer research. We are proud to continue our support.
We hope you will join us at The Walk this year – Sunday, October 4. Our team's 2025 results were once again quite impressive – bringing our lifetime fundraising total to over $190,000!!! We are committed to keeping up our momentum and building on our 18-year tradition as Howie’s Walkers. This year, we are again aiming to raise $10,000 for pancreatic cancer research. Can we meet this ambitious goal and become a “Top Team" in just a couple of weeks…?!? I believe in us!
To all of you who have supported the team over the past eighteen(!) years – THANK YOU! There are so many important and worthy causes that continue to need our support. We are ever grateful to everyone who supports Howie’s Walkers whenever they can.
WALK LOGISTICS: The 2026 Walk will take place
on Sunday, October 4 at Jones Beach, Field 5, Wantagh, NY. We’ll gather
there at about 8:30 AM and the Opening Ceremony/Walk starts at 9:30
AM.
