WE'RE FUNDRAISING IN MEMORY OF JIM FIORIO

If you know our family, you know our story. We lost Jim seven weeks from the time he was diagnosed with stage 4 PC to the day he passed. It was nothing short of  devastating to lose this wonderful, loving,  caring, amazing, seemingly very healthy man without any warning. 
That was back in August of 2012.
Shortly after his death we heard about the Lustgarten Hudson Valley Walk for Pancreatic Cancer that had been started the year before by the Carmine family who had lost their husband/dad to Pancreatic Cancer. Jimmy’s Gang,’ comprised of loving family and friends, walked that year just 2 months after losing Jim and we have been walking every year since, raising thousands of dollars over the years…..which we are so very proud of.
Although it has been frustrating at times not to see immediate progress with regard to the research, we are now beginning to see the strides they are making in early detection, immunization, testing & treatment. 
All money raised from this walk goes directly to research, which is what makes The Lustgarten walk so special.

Together with Kristen, Thomas & Meaghan, and our amazing grandson, ‘James,’ I would like to say ‘thank you’ to all of our family and friends who have supported this cause in Jim’s memory for all of these years. ‘Jimmy’s Gang’ HAS certainly made an impact in this fight and will continue to do so.
We love you, Jim. Your legacy lives on and you will NEVER be forgotten.
