In Loving Memory of Frank Centrone

We’re coming together for the Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research in honor of Frank Centrone – an incredible father, husband, musician, educator, and friend to all, who left an unforgettable mark on those lucky enough to know him.
Frank loved his people and he loved having a good time, so we want this walk to be a celebration of that life and legacy. It’s a chance to join together, share stories and memories, laugh about the good times, and accomplish something meaningful in his honor.
And we’d love for you to be part of it.
Family, friends, musicians, colleagues, neighbors, students –
anyone whose life was touched by Frank is welcome to join our team! Simply
register for Team Frankie Keys and come out to Jones Beach
on October 4. Get the full event details here: https://hope.lustgarten.org/event/longisland
We're hoping to set up a little “homebase” at the
event with breakfast before the walk to give everybody a chance to gather, grab
a bite, share memories, and spend some time together. For anyone who was unable
to attend his services in Florida, this is the perfect way to remember him fondly
and say goodbye.
You don't have to walk to be part of the team! Come hang out at homebase during the walk, or show your support from afar by donating through our Team Frankie Keys fundraising page.
We chose the Lustgarten Foundation because of its commitment to one of the most devastating and difficult-to-treat cancers. Lustgarten is the nation’s largest private funder of pancreatic cancer research, working to advance earlier detection, better treatments, and ultimately a cure. And because separate funding covers the organization’s administrative expenses, 100% of donations to Lustgarten go directly toward pancreatic cancer research.
Whatever you can do, we’d love to have you there. For Frank. For his legacy. And for every family still fighting for a cure💜

My beloved friend from elementary school-Frank. We often got seated near one another and enjoyed many laughs. I was happy to see and chat with him at one EMHS picnic reunion. It was there that I met beautiful his beautiful ( inside and outside) wife. Everytime I hear a Steely Dan song I will remember him with a smile - especially Aja. Thanks for sponsoring this walk.
