We're fundraising for Team Melissa
It has been 10 years since we lost our beloved Melissa—a cherished sister, daughter, family member, and dear friend. Though the years have passed, her love, strength, and beautiful spirit continue to inspire everyone who knew her.
Melissa had an incredible gift for finding joy, even while facing the daily challenges of this terrible disease. No matter how difficult the circumstances, she rarely let frustration or anger take hold. Instead, she would smile and remind us all, **"Don't let them steal your joy!"** Those words became more than a saying—they became the way she chose to live.
We are walking together to raise donations for pancreatic cancer and in support of all affected by pancreatic cancer. This includes family, friends and care givers. Donations can be made cash, check or online with QR codes.
As we walk together in her honor, let's carry that same spirit with us. Whatever life brings, may we choose joy, kindness, courage, and hope, just as Melissa did every single day.
We remember her as a fearless fighter—vivacious, vibrant, and a bright light whose spark continues to shine in our hearts. She filled our lives with laughter, love, and memories that we will treasure forever.
One favorite memory always brings a smile. Melissa, her brother Mark, and their friend Albert had a paper route together. Mark decided this was the perfect opportunity to give Melissa driving lessons... despite the small detail that she was underage! It still makes us laugh and reminds us of the fun, love, and adventures they shared.
