2026 NYC Marathon
Wednesday 22nd JulRunning the NYC Marathon has always been a personal goal of mine, and I’m incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to take on this challenge while supporting a cause that means so much to me.
As an oncology nurse at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, I have the privilege of caring for patients and families facing cancer every day. Their strength, resilience, and courage inspire me far beyond the walls of the hospital. Being part of their journeys has shown me the importance of continued research, innovation, and hope for better treatments and outcomes.
I’m honored to be running this marathon in support of the Lustgarten Foundation, whose mission is dedicated to advancing pancreatic cancer research and improving outcomes for those affected by this disease. One of my patients once told me to “run for those who can’t,” and that message has stayed with me.
Every mile will be dedicated to my patients, their families, and everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer. I’m running to support the research that brings us closer to better treatments, more hope, and a future where more lives can be saved.
