I'm fundraising for Janet Robinson
In May 2010, my Grandmother Janet Robinson, passed away from Pancreatic Cancer just 5 months after being diagnosed. My fight to find a cure starting at age 12 when I started participating in the annual Lustgarten Foundation walks and even was in the Lustgarten Foundation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80uvEkAOEB0&t=18s) ad back in 2012 talking about my grandmother and the disease.Â
Since my Grandmother's death in 2010, I have worn a purple wristband on my right wrist which says "Pan Cure Now". I often look down and remember the great memories I shared with her and how this terrible cancer took her life in such a short period of time.  I never want anyone to endure the pain that my Grandmother went through. We MUST find a cure for this horrible disease NOW. I know too many close friends who have lost loved ones to this terrible disease and we must continue to fight for a cure.
