This year, I'm walking in memory of my dad, Andrew "Andy" Mathews, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in September 2025 at just 52 years old.
My dad was the person everyone could count on. He worked hard, loved his family fiercely, and never hesitated to help someone in need. He was an amazing father, grandfather, husband,brother, and friend. Losing him has left a hole in our lives that can never truly be filled.
I'm participating in this walk to honor his memory, raise awareness, and support the fight against pancreatic cancer so that other families may have more time with the people they love.
