San Antonio Walk

I'm fundraising in memory of my father, Jesus G. Zamora, Sr

2024 marks the 2nd annual San Antonio Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Walk! Thank you to all who supported last year's Inaugural Walk.  It was a blast and the walk as a whole raised $16,609.87.  We hope to spread the word this year and reach our fundraising goal of $30,000! Progress is being made every day but due to its aggressive nature, Pancreatic Cancer is still ranked 4th among cancer deaths in the United States and urgently needs research dollars.  Like my father who I lost in 2017, 1 in 4 people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer were 1st diagnosed with diabetes.  If we can spread awareness in our community maybe we can diagnose pancreatic cancer in earlier stages and give patients hope for a cure.

Why Lustgarten? I have supported them since 2011 as they are the nation’s largest private funder of pancreatic cancer research. Thanks to separate funding of administrative expenses, 100% of my fundraising and your donation funds pancreatic cancer research - research led by Lustgarten and powered by you! Together, we will raise more money for research advancements than I ever could alone.

Please support my goal as I embrace Lustgarten's vision of transforming pancreatic cancer into a curable disease through early detection and new treatments. Donate to my page and provide hope to thousands of families touched by this devastating disease.  Lustgarten's motto is "Time is Everything."

Please share this page with any friends you think might be interested in donating, and join me on this journey towards a cure.
