Dear family and friends,
It’s that time of year again — I am excited to share that I am fundraising for the New York City Pancreatic Cancer Walk on Sunday, April 21, 2024!
This will be my and my mom's 14th walk. I'm thrilled that with your continued support, over the past 13 walks, I have raised over $51,000 for the Lustgarten Foundation.
My dedication to this cause is to honor my cherished Daddy-O, who battled this disease with his trademark sense of humor and dignity. We love and miss him every day. Pancreatic Cancer has had a significant impact on our family, however you may not know that it recently increased to be the nation's third leading cause of cancer deaths. I am committed to fundraising for Lustgarten specifically, as 100% of the donations received fund research, treatment, and awareness for this disease. By raising money, we are raising hope.
In 2013, Lustgarten interviewed me about my dedication to this cause. Stories like mine both inspire optimism and courage, as well as expand knowledge and understanding of this disease and the fundraising effort. You can click here to read the post.
