FOREVER FRAN
I am participating in Lustgarten's Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research to remember my mother, Francine Sue Benjamin, who passed away at the young age of 62 years old to this devastating disease. She was a Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Best Friend and Wife.
The day my mom was diagnosed, she lived each and every day to its absolute fullest. She experienced things that most people will never see or do in a lifetime. Mom never let her disease take over her life, it was just something she just had going on in the background. Even on hospice for 2 weeks, she lived to her fullest potential, having parties with the girls at the house, never saying no to anything, and walking around until her very last day.
My true goal for this walk is to bring Mom's family and friends all together again. Mom believed in bringing people together always, I'd like to share that tradition at this walk.
