Dear Friends,
In just two short months, our family’s world was turned upside down. What began as a simple case of “heartburn” quickly became the news no one ever wants to hear: pancreatic cancer. This devastating disease has no routine screening tests, and it’s often discovered too late for effective treatment.
Greg was diagnosed in August with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and, heartbreakingly, passed away on October 25—the very same day that friends gathered to raise funds for the Lustgarten Foundation in his honor.
Throughout his illness, Greg was under the care of Dr. Daniel King, a dedicated oncologist and active researcher who works closely with the Lustgarten Foundation. With your support, researchers like Dr. King can continue their vital work to develop early detection methods and better treatments for this terrible disease. Every donation goes directly to pancreatic cancer research.

Dear Danielle, My heart breaks for you and your family. Although I did not know Greg well, I knew he was the kind of person who would willingly and cheerfully help out with anything anyone needed and that he was a devoted and loving father to Johnathon and Scott. My Dad died in 2014 of pancreatic cancer, also a very short time after diagnosis. It is truly insidious. I know that Greg had the love and comfort of you and your family during that brief time.
