Our team started out in memory of Marie Ryan, who lost her hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer several years ago. Unfortunately, we now have members of our team who have had their loved ones also lose the fight against pancreatic cancer. Our hope is to contribute to the groundbreaking research that will one day turn the tide against this devastating disease.
This year is more important than ever. Recent federal funding decisions are impacting this critical research. NIH has frozen all new grant approvals, cancer research funding has been capped, and the only federal program exclusively dedicated to pancreatic cancer research has lost its funding entirely.
Our team is participating in Lustgarten's Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research to celebrate the progress that has been made and to power tomorrow's research.
