Now it’s personal.

Someone very close to me — who I love like a brother — is facing pancreatic cancer. He is strong, incredibly active, surrounded by people who love him, and very much a fighter. Watching someone you care about face this disease makes the need for better treatments and, ultimately, a cure feel very real.

Sheila and I will be participating in the Lustgarten Foundation Long Island Walk as part of the "In Memory of Diane" team, raising money for pancreatic cancer research.

Lustgarten is the nation’s largest private funder of pancreatic cancer research, and 100% of the money raised through this effort goes directly to pancreatic cancer research.

I’ve made my donation, and I’m asking my Facebook friends to help us as well. Any amount is appreciated. More than anything, I’d love to see a lot of names on that donor list showing this family how many people are standing behind them.
