I'm fundraising for... Anthony Esponda

Our beloved union and 419 spartan club member, Anthony Esponda, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer on May 17, 2024. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was set to retire on August 2024, after working for Local 3 for over 40 years. We didn't know it at the time but he unfortunately had a very rare and aggressive type of pancreatic cancer -Neuroendocrine Carcinoma.  Despite the horrific news, everyone around him remained hopeful and steadfast in finding supportive avenues. He fought extremely hard for a short two months and though we wish he had much longer, we we are thankful that he didn't have to suffer for long.  We miss him tremendously but we have vowed to keep his memory and spirit alive! By supporting movements, research and foundations like Lustgarten we are continuing to fight the fight, in honor of our brother Anthony, who has fought for our members day in and day out. We ask that you support us by joining us for this walk to help raise awareness and funds  for crucial research.  We pray that more advances can be made in the fight against pancreatic cancer so we can one day live in a world without this dreadful disease that takes far too many amazing people and affects countless lives.
We love you Anthony! May you rest in peace.
