I am participating in Lustgarten's Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research to celebrate the progress that has been made and to power tomorrow's research.
I’m walking this year in memory of my mom (our Granny, Aunt, Wife, & Friend), who passed away last year from pancreatic cancer. She was the heart of our family, and seeing her face this disease with such grace changed me forever. I am walking because I want to ensure other families don't have to experience the same goodbye, and because I know she would be the first person cheering us on at the finish line.
