Next month, I am participating again in Lustgarten's Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research. Like many walkers, I will wear the names of loved ones— my friend Chip, who is bravely fighting the disease, my sister Geralynn and my mom Geraldine, who both fought hard before losing their battles.

Saturday 5th Oct Tomorrow I will walk in celebration of 3 special people; my mother, my sister Geralynn, and Chip, who was friend to many of us. I walk in celebration of their lives,how they touched us, made us smile, laugh.Cancer is so limited...It cannot cripple love. It cannot shatter hope.
It cannot corrode faith. It cannot eat away peace. It cannot destroy confidence.
It cannot kill friendship. It cannot shut out memories. It cannot silence courage.
It cannot reduce eternal life. It cannot quench the Spirit.
