My reason for supporting pancreatic research
Wednesday 28th Aug In 1990 my husband, Robert, lost his mother to pancreatic cancer. It was an awful journey and painful to watch the suffering. Never ever thinking my beloved husband would suffer the same fate. In February of this year, 2024, he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He never got a fighting chance and was gone by March 23, 2024. It’s been a terrible flight through this year and seems so unfair since he was always so healthy. This cancer is such a silent killer that we need to find a way to diagnose it before it’s too late and find a way to treat it that has a successful outcome. Hopefully some day soon we will be at a place where no one has to suffer like he did and the loved ones left behind suffer the unbearable grief of loosing someone they deeply love.
