I'm participating in the Lustgarten Foundation’s Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research in memory of my dear college friend and roommate, Cindy, who we sadly lost to pancreatic cancer this past August.

Watching Cindy face this devastating disease with strength, grace, courage and incredible bravery inspired so many of us, and her memory continues to do so every day. The walk is just one small way I can honor her. Cindy was an incredible friend, mother, wife, daughter, sister and overall human being - she knew how to live life to the fullest and gave her whole heart to everything and everyone she loved. I miss her fashion/travel advice, sense of humor, and amazing friendship so much.

Pancreatic cancer remains one of the most challenging cancers to treat, but with research and funding, there is hope.
