We're fundraising for...our Mom & Grandma, Grandma Harriet
Our team is participating in Lustgarten's Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research in memory of Harriet Goldstein, our Mom, and Grandma. Sadly we lost her when she was only 61 to pancreatic cancer. She was able to have a whipple surgery which we thought left her cancer free and ready to have a full and long life. Unfortunatley, that was not the case as the tumor returned a short time after the surgery. That time, there was nothing else we could do.
We are walking to celebrate the progress that has been made in research to find a cure and early detection of pancreatic caner and to power tomorrow's research.
