TEAM MORGAN

Dear Friends and Family,
As many of you already may know, Morgan Glatzer, (our father & husband), passed away on July 31, 2006, after a 20- month battle with Pancreatic Cancer. His struggle was nothing short of inspirational to all of us, and his ability to hold the disease at bay for as long as he did, and still enjoy life, was simply incredible.
It is in his memory, and in his spirit, that our family is participating in the LUSTGARTEN WALK for the 15th time, and we are trying to raise money for this worthwhile cause. Over the past 14 years, we have raised over $33,000 because of everyone's generosity. This year our family will be doing the Paramus Walk again, on September 21st.
We are motivated because we know this would be something that Morgan would want
us to do. To anyone who was fortunate enough to know him, he could never do
enough for anyone. It's the least we can do, in the hope that one day, modern
medicine will finally beat this disease. Pancreatic cancer is the nation’s
fourth leading cause of cancer deaths. The low survival rate for this disease
has not improved in 25 years.
Research holds the key to finding better treatments and a cure, yet ONLY 2% of
all federal cancer research funding, goes to Pancreatic Cancer. Additional
money for research is urgently needed to help change the course of this
disease.
100% of every dollar donated to the Foundation will go directly to Pancreatic
Cancer research.
Thank you for your support and assistance in helping us in this struggle.
Lots of love,
Alana, Jason, Adam, Jenny & Jennifer
Good luck!
