We are fundraising for…our beloved Mema!

On August 5, 2024, our hearts were shattered as we lost our beloved wife, mommy, and Mema, Ellen Blatt, to the evils of pancreatic cancer. 

Mema was the heart and soul of our family, making everyone she met feel like the most important person in the room and turning every experience into a celebration. 

She was the ultimate host, creating exuberant family gatherings with her signature warmth and seemingly endless feasts. Her grandchildren relished every dish she made, like her famous meatballs and delicious chicken soup.

Ellen loved flowers and full moons, coffee ice cream and potato chips. She fed her two dogs only home-cooked meals. She wrote the most thoughtful thank-you notes. She had a solution to every problem. She saw good in everyone, everywhere. 

She was the most beautiful woman inside and out, and had a smile that stayed in your heart long after she left the room.

On September 22, we are walking in her honor, with the goal of fueling research so that no other family has to experience the devastating horrors of pancreatic cancer.
