Thank you for helping me run the NYC marathon for a cause close to my heart!
Those of you who are close to me are aware of the devastating impact pancreatic cancer has had on my family. When my mom was just 24, she and her 8 siblings lost their mom to pancreatic cancer at age 59. It’s one of the great heartaches of my life that I was never able to meet my grandmother, the matriarch or our incredible clan, and that she never met the majority of her many, many grandchildren. 34 years later, in 2018, my mom and 7 of her siblings experience the loss of their sister - my fiery, spunky, huge-hearted aunt Marcia - to the same disease only a couple short months following her diagnosis. This is a cause that is extremely close to my heart, as funding pancreatic cancer research could very likely directly impact the future health and care of my family. My fundraising goal is lofty (as is my goal to run a marathon), but anything you are able to give makes a difference!! Even if you’re not able to donate yourself (things are TIGHT right now, I get it!!), sharing this far and wide would be such a help! Big thanks and love to everyone for their support and encouragement - I will certainly need both!!

I’m so excited, humbled, terrified, thrilled, etc. etc. to be running the 2025 New York City Marathon in November, in support of the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
