Transform Pancreatic Cancer Into a Curable Disease

When my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, it was and still is devasting for my family. We did everything we could to save him, but my dad lost his fight with cancer five months later.
This is why I am passionate about raising funds for Lustgarten, they are the largest private funder of pancreatic research in the world. Lustgarten's singular mission is to transform pancreatic cancer into a curable disease with a focus on high-risk, high-reward research. This has helped to accelerate and expand life saving treatments options. We can give families hope when faced with a pancreatic diagnosis.
Pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer related deaths for men, and third for women. The five-year relative survival rate is 13%. Each day 182 new patients will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Funding research is needed to transform pancreatic cancer into a curable disease!
100% of your donation fund Lustgarten’s research program, focused on early detection, therapeutic development and personalized medicine. Last year, my family raised $3,000 which helped to fund research to understand the effectiveness of an mRNA vaccine to reduce risk of return as well as an artificial intelligence tool that successfully identified people at the highest risk for pancreatic cancer three years prior to diagnosis.
