I'm fundraising for my Uncle Evan Smith

My Uncle Evan Smith lost his fight to pancreatic cancer on November 15, 2023 at the young age of 39 years old. Uncle Evan was like no other person I have met. He was kind, outgoing, entertaining, comforting, and so much more.

While he is physically no longer with us on this Earth, his spirit remains with me and everyone he had touched in those short-lived 39 years. He was the epitome of simple acts of kindness and doing good. His adventurous side made him fun to be around and as much as I loved him as my uncle, he also felt like a friend to me. 

Every day when I wake up in the morning I think about how lucky I am to be here on this Earth, surrounded by those who love and care about me. Through his fight, he showed me that keeping a good attitude and a positive mindset makes you strong and able to achieve things you may not have thought possible. Treasure every moment that you get.

Uncle Evan was, and always will be, my mentor and someone that I will always look up to.
