Honoring My Mom: A Personal Journey in Pancreatic Cancer Research

Tuesday 16th Jul
Cancer is a word that holds a heavy weight in my heart. My mother, a beacon of love and strength, battled pancreatic cancer for a year and a half before she passed away on October 25, 2021. Her fight, resilience, and unwavering spirit are the driving forces behind my dedication to pancreatic cancer research.

My mother was not just a patient; she was a loving wife, a cherished mother of two, and a proud grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren. She was surrounded by a network of friends who continue to speak of her warmth, kindness, and the lasting impact she had on everyone she met. Her absence is felt deeply every day, and the void she left behind is a testament to the profound love and light she brought into our lives.

This research is more than just a professional endeavor; it is a personal mission to honor my mom's memory and to contribute to a future where families no longer have to endure the heartache that cancer brings. By spreading awareness and advocating for advancements in pancreatic cancer research, we hope to make strides towards finding a cure. Every step forward is a tribute to my mother's courage and a beacon of hope for others facing this relentless disease.

Join us in this fight. Together, we can work towards a world where pancreatic cancer is no longer a formidable foe but a conquered adversary. In memory of my mom and for all those who continue to battle, we push forward with hope, determination, and the unshakeable belief that a cure is within reach.
