UTSA Pre-Physician Assistant Society

San Antonio Walk

Why were in this fight!

The Pre-PA Society at UTSA is dedicated to supporting students pursuing a career as Physician Assistants. We provide academic resources, professional insight, and mentorship to help members grow personally and professionally while preparing for the PA school application process. Our mission is to foster development, uphold the highest standards of ethics in healthcare, and promote awareness of the PA profession as a vital career in medicine.

This year, our society is honored to volunteer for our second year and participate in Lustgarten’s Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research. We are proud to support the nation’s largest private funder of pancreatic cancer research, where 100% of donations go directly to research thanks to separate funding for administrative expenses. The walk celebrates progress already made while fueling tomorrow’s advancements in early detection, new treatments, and ultimately, a cure. By joining this cause, we hope to provide hope to the thousands of families affected by this devastating disease and to contribute to research that is saving lives.

We are dedicating our participation to [insert name/relationship once received], a beloved family member of one of our officers, whose story inspires us to walk with purpose and compassion.

Together, with your generosity and support, we can make a meaningful difference in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
