I'm fundraising for my mom
As many of you know, my mom, whom I lovingly referred to as the Energizer Bunny, died on Thanksgiving morning last year. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on September 8, 2023, and less than 11 weeks later, she was gone. That's because by the time she was diagnosed, it had already spread to her liver, lung, lymph nodes, and part of her spine. Weeks before her diagnosis, however, she was fine.
Unfortunately, my mom's story is not unique. I have had so many friends who have lost parents, grandparents, spouses, siblings, and friends to pancreatic cancer.
Therefore, I am supporting pancreatic cancer research by donating to the Lustgarten Foundation. I invite you to do the same through my personal page for the 2024 TCS NEW YORK CITY MARATHON.
