My best friend's name is Alisa Macone. She was an AMAZING woman and she was taken from us way too early!
Alisa beat breast cancer and before she even finished treatment she invited me to joinTeam Alisa. She wanted to give back to the community that had helped her so much. I was honored!
Too few years later Alisa was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She fought bravely for 6 months only thinking of others and how they would be once she was gone. Worried about who would help them when she couldn't.
I continue to walk for her. I am still honored to be a part of Team Alisa and to have been considered her friend.
