The overall 5-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer is holding steady at 13% and I refuse to believe this is as good as it gets. I have lost so many beautiful friends to this disease during the 4 years I have been battling. More must be done to advance early detection, spread awareness, expand treatment options, increase the number of surgical candidates, and extend life!
