Saturday 3rd MayI'm blessed. My pancreatic cancer was diagnosed very early. My doctor, Arthur Antler, (the best gastro there is), noticed a slight protrusion during my routine colonoscopy. He suggested I get it checked out. After a Cat Scan, MRI and needle biopsy, Dr. Michael Kluger (the best surgeon there is), suggested I have it removed. I had a distal pancreatectomy and a splenectomy in December 2022. It was stage 1. The surgery was followed by 6 months of Folfirinox Chemo. So far, I have been cancer free. Early detection is the key. I'm walking to find a cure, and until a cure is found, I'm walking to help advance early detection capabilities.
