We're fundraising for...

TO FIND A CURE!  We are one of the very fortunate families to say we have a SURVIVOR and we want more families to share in our good fortune.  In 2007 my amazing mom was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer.  18 years ago, I think the survival rate was less than 4%.  To say that we were all devastated was an understatement.  Babs was only 58 at the time of diagnosis, an active working woman with 3 young grandkids who motivated her to fight the fight.

It is a testament to her incredibly talented doctors (2 surgeries, extensive radiation and chemo) and she beat the odds.  We need more successes like Babs!  We walk to raise money to find a cure!  This will be our 17th walk since the inception of the Westchester Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Walk and once again, Babs will be leading our team.
