Join Team Little Frances' Fighting Cardinalsin Battling Pancreatic Cancer!
Team Little Frances' Fighting Cardinals was created in 2012 in memory of my Grandmother Frances Armiento, who passed away in 1994 from this devestating disease.
Anyone who knew Frances knew how special she was as a mother, grandmother, aunt or friend. She loved everyone undconditonally, and would always be the first to reach out if anyone needed advice, reassurance, as well as encouragement. It was devestating to all of us when she was diagnosed with this disease. No matter how grim and painful the outcome was, she accepted her end of life journey with dignity, grace and immense courage. She enjoyed being with her family, and cooking her delicious italian dishes especially her eggplant!
I invite you to participate and join our team as a walker at this event on April 14th , or make a donation in Frances' memory.
Your generous donation will help researchers identify better treatments and hopefull find a cure for this deadly disease.
