Larry and I are walking in memory in my mom who lost her battle to Pancreatic Cancer July 4, 2022. 
Mollie was diagnosed April 2021 just a few weeks after my parents moved into their new home in Greensboro, GA to be closer to us and my brother's family. In the midst of COVID, when getting in to see a doctor was not easy, and they limited the family members that could accompany her, she endured 30 rounds of chemo, then had the Whipple surgery January 2022 which is a very difficult surgery. My mom never complained once, she always had a smile on her face. I will not even go into all the things she endured during her fight, to say she was a trooper is an an understatement. Just two months later she had 30 days of radiation and more chemo, only to lose her battle in July as the cancer had spread to her liver and throughout her abdomen. She taught us so much during those 15 months about faith, endurance, staying positive, looking at the bright side even when life is hard and so many other lessons. We miss her every single day and keeping her memory alive is so important to me! This disease is such a tough one to detect early and once it is detected it's usually too late. Pancreatic Cancer also took my moms dad at the age of 60 and my uncles wife at the young age of 50 from our family. My Uncle died of lung cancer. My Aunt and sister-in-law have also both battled breast cancer. Cancer SUCKS!
