We're fundraising in memory of Gigi!
Gigi's Team is participating in Lustgarten's Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research for the 15th year since the Westchester Walk first started!
15 years ago Gigi was taken away from us by pancreatic cancer. Gigi's daughter founded the Westchester Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk in her memory and together with friends and family we have been walking, fundraising, and creating awareness for this deadly disease Gigi's memory ever since. Together with the Westchester community we have raised over $4,500,000 for pancreatic cancer research over the last 15 years. Gigi's compassion, drive, and devotion to help others continues to inspire us everyday towards a cure for pancreatic cancer!
We are participating in Lustgarten's Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research to celebrate the progress that has been made, to power tomorrow's research, and to bring hope to other families so others don't have to face the same hopeless and powerless feelings that my family and I felt when Gigi was first diagnosed with this deadly disease.
Please support Gigi's Team's goal as we embrace Lustgarten's vision of transforming pancreatic cancer into a curable disease. When Gigi was first diagnosed 15 years ago, the five year survival rate was only 5% and now it is 13%! This increased survival rate is due to friends and family donating and raising awareness for pancreatic cancer research.
Join our team, donate to our team, provide hope to thousands of families touched by this devastating disease.
Why Lustgarten? They are the nation’s largest private funder of pancreatic cancer research. Thanks to separate funding of administrative expenses, 100% of our fundraising and your donation funds pancreatic cancer research - research led by Lustgarten and powered by you! With your support, we will raise more money for research advancements than we ever could alone.
