We're fundraising in memory of our brother, Evan Smith
This year, the Smiths and Wagners won’t be able to participate in the Lustgarten Walk on June 14, as we will be attending Jackson’s college graduation. Even though we can’t walk this year, we remain deeply committed to raising funds for pancreatic cancer research in memory of our brother, Evan, who passed away on November 15, 2023 at the age of 39.
If you’re available, we encourage you to participate in the walk and consider making a donation. We look forward to joining the walk again in Spring 2027.
Any contribution is greatly appreciated as we support the Lustgarten Foundation’s mission to transform pancreatic cancer into a curable disease. Why Lustgarten? They are the nation’s largest private funder of pancreatic cancer research. Thanks to separate funding for administrative expenses, 100% of every dollar raised goes directly toward pancreatic cancer research—research led by Lustgarten and powered by supporters like you.
Your contribution will help us reach our fundraising goal and support critical research into early detection and new treatments. Please consider sharing this page with friends or family who may also want to support this cause.
Together, we can help move research forward and bring us closer to a cure.
