My mom was the kind of person who made everyone feel at home. She had a way of listening that made you feel heard, a laugh that filled the room, and a strength that carried our family through everything life threw our way.
When she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, everything changed so quickly. It’s a disease that often goes undetected until it’s too late, and despite her courage and determination, we lost her far too soon.
But my mom never gave up—and neither will we.
That’s why we are walking in support of the Lustgarten Foundation. They are dedicated to funding critical research for early detection, better treatments, and ultimately a cure for pancreatic cancer. Every step we take is for my mom, and for the countless families facing this devastating disease.
