Our team is participating in Lustgarten's Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research to celebrate the progress that has been made and to power tomorrow's research. Support our team and embrace Lustgarten's vision of transforming pancreatic cancer into a curable disease. Cindy Leff was a truly remarkable soul who fought her battle with pancreatic cancer with every ounce of her being. Cindy was the embodiment of strength, grace, and style. She was always trendy, with a chic sense of fashion and she had her finger on the pulse of everything new and exciting. Her creativity knew no bounds, and she had a knack for making every single day special. As a decorator she was a guiding light with an impeccable design sense and she truly knew how to add sparkle and joy to the lives of those around her.
Cindy was patient and level-headed, always a sense of calm in the midst of any storm. Her soothing presence brought comfort to everyone she met, and her intentional, honest way of living inspired us all. She loved the little things in life that made it richer: Phil Collins and Genesis playing in the background, indulging in French onion dip with Ruffles potato chips, and searching for and savoring the best pizza in every city and town. She believed that unsalted butter was pointless and that nothing beat the down-and-dirty delight of casual Mexican food. Charcuterie boards were an adventure for her, especially when they included an unexpected delicacy or surprise of red Twizzlers standing tall in a mason jar.
Orange was Cindy's favorite color; from her wardrobe to her hair, it radiated her warmth and vibrancy. She brought color and light into the world, and she will be missed deeply by all who knew her. We will always cherish the memories we made, the dreams we shared, and the lessons she taught us about bravery and resilience.
Cindy leaves behind her beloved husband, Michael, and their two amazing children, Lily and Jared, who were her absolute pride and joy. Her love for them was immeasurable, and her legacy will live on through them, reminding us all of the incredible woman she was. Cindy is also survived by her parents, Arlene and Jeff Pressman, and her brother Gregg Pressman. Additionally, Cindy maintained a circle of friends from every phase of her life. She was so deeply loved by all of them, and she considered them family. She was a second mother to so many of Jared and Lily’s friends...her door was always open and everyone was welcome; her hospitality was unmatched. Cindy’s strength, fun-loving spirit, and unwavering honesty touched the lives of so many, and while she may no longer be with us, her memory will continue to inspire and uplift us forever.
