In February 2026, the FDA approved Optune Pax, a first-of-its-kind wearable device that uses Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) to disrupt cancer cell division in locally advanced pancreatic cancer. Combined with chemotherapy, this represents the first major treatment advancement for this patient group in decades. YAY!!!
